By far the most common question that comes with people who are new to DSL is, 'Will my wireless card work?' The short answer is yes. The long answer is, it may take a little work, but you will be pleased with the results.

Wireless Network Card For Pc

Most cards will work with DSL. The easiest are cards based on the 'Prism 2' and 'Orinoco' chipsets. All but the most exotic cards can be made to work.

For info on whether or not your card works in DSL using ndiswrapper, see List of cards that work with ndiswrapper. Remember, DSL runs on a 2.4.26 / 2.4.31 kernel, so, in theory, any card that works with a 2.4 kernel should work in DSL. The ndiswrapper List page also has per card instructions for getting cards working with ndiswrapper.
